I wanted to share pictures of the exterior Rumford fireplace built as part of a remodel / patio addition to our home. The construction was completed in late spring of 2005. We have built four of five fires to date. The fire place drafts well, burns great and looks wonderful when we have a roaring fire. We do get a little smoke on winding evenings, but that is to be expected, we are outside.

The facts:

3636 Rumford fire place, built in Carrollton, Texas by Moisan Remodeling Company. The Superior Clay Products use to construct this Rumford where purchased through ACME brick, our local Dallas supplier.
