I recently lit the first fire in my 48" Rumford fireplace. What a wonderful experience it was when it worked so well. The builder and the brick mason had said like all the others that it would not draw. The Rumford is in our "Great Room" 42 x 28' with 16' ceiling.

This is the only Rumford fireplace I know of in my town of 30,000 (Coppell, TX) near Dallas.
