Hi Jim,

It was great talking with you over the holidays, and we really appreciated your thoughts on the chimney scans.

I just sent to you via mailbigfile.com a bunch of interior and exterior photographs of our house and fireplace. After 10 years of use, if we had it to do over again, we would build the same fireplace and bread oven.

Thanks for everything, and if you find yourself in the Ann Arbor area, give us a call.

Hi Jim,

Remember us? We're the people building the log cabin in Michigan. You successfully talked us out of the see-through fireplace and into two back-to-back fireplaces and a bread oven.

We're still in the process of building our cabin and at the stage of building the fireplace. Our builder's name is Rick Carter of Log Home Builders of Michigan. Please expect to receive a phone call from him in the near future.

And on 5/1/02

At long last, here are some photos of our fireplace. I don't have pictures of the completed bread oven, but it looks very nice. I tried burning wood in the oven the other day, and it seemed to work just fine. The length of the flue at the time was about 3 feet.
