The big jump in shipping costs for screens 50"x49" or larger is because these screens are too big to ship by UPS or Fed Ex. They must be shipped by motorfreight on a pallet. If you would rather pay the actual shipping charges "freight collect" let us know on your order. Freight Collect requires a daytime phone number and costs less if delivered to a business with a loading dock or to a truck depot where you can pick up your screen.
